1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Wild Nomads ("the Platform"), operated by Riccardo Salvagio, Gabelsbergerstraße 48D, 80333 München, Germany, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
2. Description of Service
Wild Nomads is a marketplace platform that connects digital nomads and location-independent professionals. Our services include:
- A global map showing nomad-friendly locations and community members
- A marketplace for digital products, services, and job opportunities
- Messaging between users
- Destination guides and curated resources
- Affiliate recommendations for nomad essentials (eSIM, insurance, VPN, etc.)
3. User Accounts
To use certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information
- Maintain the security of your account credentials
- Notify us immediately of unauthorized access
- Be responsible for all activities under your account
- Be at least 18 years of age
4. User Conduct
You agree not to:
- Post false, misleading, or fraudulent content
- Harass, abuse, or threaten other users
- Spam or send unsolicited communications
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Infringe on intellectual property rights
- Attempt to hack or disrupt the platform
- Create multiple accounts for deceptive purposes
- Circumvent the platform's payment system to avoid commission fees
5. Marketplace — Role of Wild Nomads
Wild Nomads acts solely as an intermediary platform (Vermittlungsplattform). We provide the technology and infrastructure for sellers and buyers to connect. Wild Nomads is not a party to any transaction between sellers and buyers. The purchase contract is concluded directly between the seller and the buyer.
Wild Nomads does not guarantee the quality, safety, legality, or availability of any product, service, or job listing posted by users. We are not responsible for the performance of obligations arising from transactions between users.
6. Seller Terms
By listing products, services, or job opportunities on Wild Nomads, sellers agree to:
- Provide accurate and truthful descriptions of their offerings
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations in their jurisdiction
- Be solely responsible for fulfillment, customer support, and refund handling
- Authorize Wild Nomads to collect a platform commission of 10% on each transaction, deducted automatically via Stripe
- Acknowledge that subscription tiers (Pro €9/mo, Business €19/mo, Full €39/mo) determine listing limits and features
- Handle their own tax obligations, invoicing, and VAT compliance
- Not list prohibited items (illegal goods, weapons, drugs, counterfeit products, adult content)
Ranking and Visibility
Listings are ranked by a combination of recency, relevance, and user ratings. Featured listings (Spotlights) may receive additional visibility. Wild Nomads does not give preferential treatment to specific sellers outside of purchased premium features.
Changes to Terms for Sellers
In accordance with the Platform-to-Business Regulation (EU 2019/1150), sellers will be notified at least 15 days in advance of any material changes to these terms that affect their use of the platform.
Seller Complaint Mechanism
Sellers who believe their listings were unfairly restricted or their account was wrongly suspended may contact us at support@wild-nomads.com. We will review complaints within 14 business days and provide a written explanation of our decision.
7. Buyer Terms
By purchasing products or services through Wild Nomads, buyers acknowledge that:
- The contract of sale is between the buyer and the seller, not with Wild Nomads
- Refund requests, returns, and disputes must be directed to the seller
- Wild Nomads may facilitate dispute resolution but is not obligated to do so
- Payment is processed securely via Stripe; Wild Nomads does not store payment card data
8. Subscription Plans
Wild Nomads offers subscription plans for sellers and professionals:
- Free: Limited access to basic features
- Pro (€9/month): Up to 5 listings per month, messaging, basic analytics
- Business (€19/month): Up to 20 listings per month, priority support, enhanced visibility
- Full (€39/month): Up to 50 listings per month, all features, spotlight access
Subscriptions are billed monthly via Stripe and can be cancelled at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are provided for unused periods.
9. Right of Withdrawal (Widerrufsrecht)

For subscription services: As a consumer within the EU, you have the right to withdraw from a subscription contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period begins on the day the contract is concluded.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us (Wild Nomads, admin@wild-nomads.com) of your decision to withdraw by means of a clear statement (e.g., an email).
Early expiry of the right of withdrawal for digital services: By subscribing and expressly consenting to immediate access to the digital service, you acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal once the service has been fully provided (§ 356 Abs. 5 BGB).
For products purchased from third-party sellers: The right of withdrawal must be exercised directly with the respective seller, who is responsible for their own cancellation and return policies. Wild Nomads is not a party to the sale and therefore not the addressee of withdrawal declarations.
10. Content
Your Content
You retain ownership of content you post. By posting, you grant Wild Nomads a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display and distribute your content on the platform for the purpose of operating the service.
Platform Content
All platform content, design, and features are owned by Wild Nomads and protected by intellectual property laws.
Illegal Content Reporting
If you encounter content that you believe is illegal or violates these terms, you may report it to support@wild-nomads.com. We will review reports and take appropriate action in accordance with the Digital Services Act (EU 2022/2065).
11. Affiliate Links
Wild Nomads may recommend third-party products and services (e.g., eSIM, travel insurance, VPN) through affiliate links. When you purchase through these links, Wild Nomads may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. These recommendations are clearly marked and do not affect the price you pay.
12. Disclaimer
The platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee:
- Uninterrupted or error-free service
- Accuracy of user-generated content
- Results from using the platform
- Quality or legality of products/services listed by third-party sellers
13. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Wild Nomads shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you have paid to Wild Nomads in the 12 months preceding the claim.
14. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account for violations of these terms, with reasonable notice where possible. Grounds for immediate termination include fraud, illegal activity, and repeated violations. You may delete your account at any time through the Settings page.
15. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Users will be notified of material changes via email or platform notification. For business users (sellers), changes take effect no earlier than 15 days after notification, in accordance with EU Regulation 2019/1150. Continued use of the platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
16. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. For consumers within the EU, mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence apply in addition. The place of jurisdiction for business users is München, Germany.
