Excellent value for money. Internet speeds are good in cities but can be patchy in rural areas.
Europe
The EU is leading in DN visa legislation. Portugal, Spain, Croatia, Estonia, Greece, and Hungary all offer official programs.
European countries generally have higher taxes, but many DN visas include tax benefits or exemptions.
Schengen zone allows easy movement. Strong consumer protections and reliable infrastructure.
Latin America
Many countries offer DN visas with low income requirements. Mexico has a very generous tourist visa (180 days).
Most Latin American DN visas include tax exemptions on foreign income. Territorial taxation is common.
Affordable living, vibrant culture, and time zones convenient for US clients. Spanish is the dominant language.
East Asia
Japan and South Korea recently launched DN visas but with high income requirements.
Tax systems can be complex. DN visa programs usually include tax provisions.

Tax enforcement varies. Keep income offshore to minimize risk.
Cape Town stands out as a world-class nomad destination. Infrastructure varies widely by country.
